Snowperformance is running its first tour to Stellar Heli skiing located in Kaslo BC on the shore of Kootenay lake. We will be skiing the mighty Purcell and Selkirk mountain ranges.
We will be staying at the historic Kaslo Hotel built in 1896, now fully modernized. The large, spacious rooms feature high ceilings and walk-out balconies, bringing to mind a European Chateau. Outside, the mountain and lake vistas inspire and invite you to get out and explore. Offering excellent cuisine and hospitality
The package includes 4 nights of accommodation, 4 days of small group guided heli skiing, all meals, airbag and full avalanche equipment and a guaranteed minimum of 40,000 feet of guided vertical* skiing. Video and much more provided by Snowperformance.

The trip guarantees a minimum of 40,000 feet of vertical for our groups over 4 days skiing with as much as you can get in included.
We have two groups out of 3 at Stellar flying in an A Star B3 helicopter with fully qualified and extremely experienced pilots and guides.

This trip is designed for the Snowperformance level 3 to level 4 skiers only. Your skills need to be strong, you have to be fit and have stamina to enjoy the exclusive access to the huge terrain.
There will be 4 skiers in each group of 3 per helicopter led by Stellar’s outstanding guides.
At the Kalso Hotel discover mouth watering cuisine made with fresh local ingredients and unwind in the warm and inviting atmosphere of this Kootney town.
Snowperformance creates groups of equally skilled, speed and personality matched skiers to get the best out of your skiing vacation.

Daily outline
On your arrival In Kaslo at the historic hotel you will be welcomed by the staff, shown your room and other facilities. Amazing food will be served followed by a brief of the next 4 days.
On the next day you will be woken to a breakfast feast and taken a few minutes to the Stellar hangar where you can be fitted for skis and will do avalanche and helicopter safety briefings. Then head out for our first days skiing adventure.
Skiing ranges from open high glacier skiing to well spaced and steep tree and terrain runs amongst the many amazing peaks of the Purcell and Selkirk ranges that make up Stellar’s terrain.
After a fantastic days powder skiing you will hang your gear in the drying room at the hangar and return to the hotel to awaiting apps, a cocktail at the bar and a hot tub before another superb evening meal.
On the evening of the 24 January after some amazing skiing you will leave Kaslo or can book an extra night at the hotel.
Our helicopter group is booked exclusively for Snowperformance clients.
A Snowperformance expert coach will be on this trip to make sure everything runs smoothly, shoot video and assist in any way.
Transport in to Kaslo BC.
Kaslo is about an hour North of Nelson BC and 2.5 hours South of Revelstoke.
To fly in the best airport is Spokane then renting a car with a 4.5 hour drive North up the valley with no high mountain passes.
Alternatively Kelowna is also 4.5 hours but has high mountain passes
