Then relax for the evening in a cultural and gastronomical conglomeration of outstanding tastes and styles.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlaces open for 2026 tour please contact us at Gavalski@snowperformance.com or 253 569 3713 for more details and to secure your place. \n\n\n\nPrice for 2026 trip $15\,900 US. $3000 deposit to hold place. \n\n\n\nBalance or full price needs to be paid by direct bank deposit or check. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year we are making a big change to our Japan tour\, due to the increasing busyness of resort skiing in Japan we have found a newly setup cat skiing operation to work with as well as the renowned HBC cat skiing in Shimamaki and are offering 6 days cat skiing with 3 days resort side country skiing in our package for this year at almost the same cost. \n\n\n\nThis incredible trip offering you the best untouched Japow starts at Sapporo CTS airport where you will be picked up and taken to the town of Rankoshi staying in great accommodation in this classic Japanese town where you will get to experience true Japanese culture and food. \n\n\n\nWe will be based at Type Two Three’s lodges staying for 7 nights with 6 days skiing\, 3 days will be cat skiing on their privately owned mountains with amazing terrain\, this will be mixed with travelling to selected resorts for 3 days lift served guided side country skiing. Each day we will decide whether cat skiing or resort based on where the best snow is. You will dine in the evenings in the town of Rankoshi enjoying excellent Japanese cuisine. \n\n\n\nOn the February 8 we will change locations to the tiny fishing village of Shimamaki on the South West coast of Hokkaido. Here we will move into the family run Yansa residence overlooking the harbor and the Sea of Japan. Meeting our guides from Hokkaido Backcountry Club who will take us in to the Karibayama mountain range in a remote national park to cat ski for the next 3 days. This is largest cat skiing terrain in Japan. DESCRIPTION:Our goals are to give the powder lovers their wish and explore the steeps and off piste then lay arcs on the groomers. We will also have intermediate off groomed groups.  \n\n\n\nGavin will be working with other outstanding staff members who plan to make sure you get a chance to see and ski as much terrain as possible. \n\n\n\nSnowbasin in Utah hosted the downhill in the 2002 winter Olympics and will be hosting all events SL GS SG and downhill for the 2034 Olympics It is a skier’s mountain offering some incredible terrain for all levels\, with great cruising and few crowds. It is a secret gem for off piste and steep skiing holding powder fields days after every other resort is skied out. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Purchase your Snowbasin camp \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLift tickets and accommodation not included. \n\n\n\nSnowbasin is an IKON pass resort. \n\n\n\nPrivate camp?
