Each day we will decide whether cat skiing or resort based on where the best snow is. You will dine in the evenings in the town of Rankoshi enjoying excellent Japanese cuisine. \n\n\n\nOn the February 8 we will change locations to the tiny fishing village of Shimamaki on the South West coast of Hokkaido. Here we will move into the family run Yansa residence overlooking the harbor and the Sea of Japan. Meeting our guides from Hokkaido Backcountry Club who will take us in to the Karibayama mountain range in a remote national park to cat ski for the next 3 days. The next morning we will be woken to a breakfast feast\, safety briefing and avalanche training followed by a days skiing adventure in the extensive terrain. Skiing ranges from open glades to endless tree runs and high glacial skiing amongst the many stunning peaks that are within Mustang’s boundaries. Mustang’s staff have cut over 250 kilometers of roads in their new Piston bully cats to access extensive terrain. The guiding staff are second to none and they will lead you safely through this terrain. After three days you should leave tired but with memories that you will never forget. Our cats are booked exclusively for Snowperformance clients and we group them so that there are similar levels of skiers in the cat. A Snowperformance expert coach will be on each trip to make sure everything runs smoothly\, shoot video and assist in any way. Please contact us with your details to get on the list. Daily outline We will arrive at the lodge the evening before the first day of skiing. We will be welcomed and fed excellent cuisine by the friendly staff who will go out of their way to look after all your needs. The next morning we will be woken to a breakfast feast\, safety briefing and avalanche training followed by a days skiing adventure in the extensive terrain. Skiing ranges from open glades to endless tree runs and high glacial skiing amongst the many stunning peaks that are within Mustang’s boundaries. Mustang’s staff have cut over 250 kilometers of roads in their new Piston bully cats to access extensive terrain. The guiding staff are second to none and they will lead you safely through this terrain. After three days you should leave tired but with memories that you will never forget. Our cats are booked exclusively for Snowperformance clients and we group them so that there are similar levels of skiers in the cat. A Snowperformance expert coach will be on each trip to make sure everything runs smoothly\, shoot video and assist in any way. Transport in to Mustang To arrive at Mustang you will fly in by helicopter\, from the arranged pickup 30 km West of Revelstoke. The helicopter price is not built into the Mustang package. Many people will take the camp not to be racing\, just having fun improving their skiing in the gates at their level and we will have open skills improvement sleeve courses for those not needing to bash plastic. Our coaches will work to each individual and their specific needs and mainly ski with their group rather than station coach.  Daily video will be shot and feedback given. Coaches this summer will include Sean Bold\, Jen lockwood\, Ryan MacDonald\, John May\, Jeff Johnson\, Alison Mawditt\, Gavin Kerr Hunter\, and other outstanding coaches. These two and three day intensive courses run at Timberline from 6:30 in the morning through around 12:30. After which you can enjoy the incredible range of other outdoor activity’s available from mountain biking\, hiking\, and golf to paddle boarding windsurfing and kite boarding in the nearby Columbia River Gorge.
